Sir,
We live near to Coimbatore AirPort in Poongothai and PMR Layout in Goldwins.We are facing disturbance from vechicles carrying building meterials to Air Port through our residental colonies.These lorries carry weight of above 30 to 40 tons of various materials like gravels soil and sand.These vechicle use the road of Deepatextile mill road in Goldwins and use Air Horns in the night hours after 8.00pm to 6.00am every day. The residents had shown their objection to these contractors for not using the residental road but they defy this request. Hence we request your intervension to stop immediately using the residental road by this contractors. The road also now has to be relayed.
We expect your immediate action to curb this disturbances.

Request you to Consider The Linking road Proposal from Avinashi road – Starts – Near Rangavilas Mills(between Ranga vilas Mills and new E City Mall) to Rajalakshmi Mills in Trichy Road, by using the government waste land and Having a underground Sewage facility by closing the canal.
This Road will decongest the Kamaraj Road and Masakalipalayam road for trafic.
The advantage will be with out having any land acquisition the 3 KM link road with 60 to 80 feet can be created.
1.5 Km length Underground sweage facility will help in creating 3 KM road of 60 to 80 feet road.
I have a humble suggestion to pass orders to accept any valid document like Passport(for identity proof) and Telephone bill(for address proof) for Gas Cylinder registration and issue, in place of RATION CARD which many of us don’t pocess for so many years. I recently shifted from Delhi and find it as an harassment at the agency who refuses to issue cylinder. At IOCL the authorities refuse to provide exemption. At Thasildar office refusal to issue NO RATION CARD certificate!! Again agency is unwilling to accept proof of application made!
Honestly I don’t need a ration card as I have no use for it. I also don’t understand why the Collectorate should insist on it when people like me can submit other equally valid residential proof and proof of Identity. Can we look for some redressal Thanking You

This road goes back of PSG hopspital-sowripalayam-G.V.Resedency-trichy road. Already there is a proposal for this road under JNSY(Jawaharlal Nehry Swarajgor Yozana). If you consider this as a prirority, it will help Coimbatore to built up the infrastructure. So many IT companies that are not yet decided to start a new branch will think of starting it immediately.
So it will lead to employment for both the literates and illiterates. It will also lead Coimbatore in business point of view.

please r ead this mail…. i was trapped by three strangers in gandhipuram mophisle bus stand. three strangers pretended as policeman and blackmailed me and took my 16 gm gold chain. i went along with my friend who is a guy. they took the situation as favour for themselves,seized my mobile and didnt allow me too call to anyone. and asked me to give the chain. i too gave. later only i realised and doubted whether they r police demanded for bribery or some other strangers.

I am resident of Kovaipudur. Having moved into cbe from he Gulf after 15 yrs , I have been trying to secure a ration card , the so called Indian Green card, for the sake of address proof. After 5 months of waiting , I get a response saying that as an NRI I cannot get one. However If I have to apply for a passport for my son ,Ration card is demanded and my passport which has the current address is not accepted
How come that the ration card issue office operate in such an ineffieient and bureaucratic way, perhaps of vested interest to make money !!
can you please tell me as to what do to about. Sad to note that NRI is considered to be an orphan by the country
Hi:
If you hold a Indian Passport or travel document that is a sufficient proof that you are eligible for a ration card.
Indian passport certifies you are an Indian Citizen.
No body has rights to refuse you with a ration card .
The only key is to file grievience and really blow out hot arguments at the taluq office to the highest ever officer/
Have you seen mudalvan movie. File grievience against every officer or worker who does not give a stable reason in writing to refuse you the ration card.
Get the reason in writing from anyone refusing you the ration card and proceed to the next officer. if he is not giving get it in writing.
File an FIR in the nearest police station telling they are not attending to give you a ration card. It is basic citizenship right. They have to give you a card.
Try to get a no ration card letter from the thasildhar. Bring anybody who is not working properly under the FIR.
Kill them with follow up calls.
This is the only way to get them to work.
I got everything from telephone line to broad band to my own ration card like this.
Unless you speak you do not get.

Thanks . I am already chasing the concerned. However , sitting in Gulf it is bit difficult to chase people around. And having tasted the technological life here , it is more frustrating to see how primitive we are. May be it is purposefully maintained at the level so that the Baboos can make money out of people.

My passport expires in a few months time, I want to get it extended. I’m presently at Coimbatore. Is there an office here at Coimbatore where I can get it done. But I’m basically from Kerala and the permanent address in my passport is of Kerala’s. So should I go there and get it done.

I am resident of Sattakalpudur which is the route of 50 bus from Gandipuram. There are only 4 buses going to that place from Gandipuram, among which one is private. All the Govt. buses reaches the particular village four times a day. People living in that village are really suffering to go out for their needs and even soem of the school students are discontinuing their studies because they have to walk for 3 kms to get the bus in place called(Kannamanaickanur). Even people from that village are not able to reach the hospitals in time due to unavailability of buses. People from that village have given so many complaints and even they conducted strike. But still no action has been taken. I request you to consider this as high importance and take some actions which may help the people of that village to meet their needs.

This is to invite your urgent attention to unhygienic conditions prevailing in the PKM Ladies Hostel, Coimbatore.
It has been learnt from reliable sources that the food given at the PKM ladies hostel, GVK Complex, 810-A, V K Road, Peelamedu, Coimbatore-4. quality nut also it causes various health related problems. The hostel running a hotel adjacent to hostel and indirectly compelling the students to take food from there. Regularly food is served in the mess which has been used or whatever comes as balance in the hotel. Even though the continued complaint given by the students verbally, the authority did not take necessary actions in this regard. And the students had suffered harassment from the warden all these times. Most of the days the children are sleeping with their stomachs empty. It is very difficult to find another hostel in the immediate vicinity. Kindly look into the matter and do the needful as early as possible.

A wastewater nullah passes thro Avarampalayam/Surya Garden/Bharathi colony, crosses the Avanasi road near Suguna kalyan mantap, and god knows where it goes.
As far as I know, the nullah has not been cleaned for the last 100 years, and is a breeding place for plastics/wild vegetation/druggies/ hookers and what not.
This nullah is a breeding ground for parasites and mosquitos which has made life hell for the citizens in its vicinity.
I have seen lot of nullahs in developing countries like Vietnam, Cambodia etc, but they are kept absolutely clean by regular dredging and cleaning with modern machines.
When we Coimbatore wake up to reality, I know you are not the corporation, but can you at least try and wake them up, their job is not only to enhance taxes but keep the nullahs clean.
God know what has happened to Cbe sewage plans, but if it were not for the rain gods who help clean the nullahs now and then, we will all be LATE or dead as a DODO

He was working in Maharashtra and after retirement we have settled in coimbatore since 4 years. we have submitted proper documents of transfer on our rationcard. but since this last 4 years we have applied 4 times for our rationcard along with our transfer certificate even though with proper documents still we have not be provided with new rationcard despite of our several visit ot TSO office. I want to know Are we not citizens? can u pls help us to get it as where ever we go the rationcard is required. like bank loan, employment registration, etc;

I am working in one private concern. My office starts at 9.00 AM. One private bus named S17 (Garuda) is not stopping at the Alankar Busstop. For the past 10 days I am watching that bus. Today what a surprise they stopped the bus (not exactly at the bus stop somewhere beyond the busstop) and I came running to get it, inspite of me coming running near the bus, the driver saw me and took off the bus. I waited there for nearly 1/2 an hour and came to the office late. So please do the needful to make the bus stops there as that bus timings only will suit me.

Ikindly bring upon to u the notice of irregularities in coimbatore tasildhar office. My mother has been going on to the tashildar office for almost 13 months just waiting to get our ration card.we were first living in trichy then we went abroad and now we have come to coimbatore and our previous ration card has been expired. so we did apply for new one here,but the response the officers in tasildar office is so aanoying , not only for us ,but there are so many poor people daily coming here for some work and not getting what they wanted,and the result they only go home crying. The officers in tasildhars office has called us more then ten times to collect our card,but never gave us the card. now THEY SAY THAT THEY HAVE LOST IT.we have gone there more than 20 times,but just spending 2 to 3 hours over there but to just here a annoying no said by the officers there. sir i kindly request you to take some action or please suggest me some place where i can go and complain about this matter..
Even the officers over there ,especially in the card issuing department are not proper,they are so annoying to the people.

Myself Amirtha, residing at Ondipudur, Coimbatore. My mother Mrs. Chandra residing at Sowdambikai Nagar, Pooluvapatti Pirivu, P.N.Road, Tirupur. Since 20 years she is staying the same address. The problem is, my mothers neighbors Mr. Eswaran and his family (sister & Mother) & Mr. Durkaiannan and his son Mr. Sankar they are giving more & more torches to my family members past 20 years. Now they are torchering my mother. My father pass a way on 17-05-2008. since she is alone. Even thou still they are changing their attitude. Now they are divert their drainage to our house. We couldnt walk that area. We have send a complaint to CM Cell. Our local police man came said some things. But as of now they didnt remove the drainage from that side.
Sir my mother staying alone. Also she need production. We are all poor & she is very innocent person. So I believe the Tamil nadu police department can help to us & solve this problem immly.

I have received new Ration Card on August 2008 from Coimbatore North Taluk Office and I registered at the end of August 2008 and appeal filed on October 2008 at Ration shop and goods receiving from September 2008 to June 2009. From July 2009 they stopped to supply the goods to my Ration Card due to my card is in SS List and I approached with Coimbatore North Taluk Office, they informed me to wait to the next Tamilnadu Govt order.

Sub: Request probe into the function of ration shop No. EA009 in Ward No.061, shop’s name:K.K.Pudur-2.
I am a resident of venkattapuram in Ward No.61.
I wish to bring to your kind attention that we are denied of supply of pulses each month. In fact we get to see the truck with the material move towards the ration shop. The following day we stand in long Q but after distributing for hardly an hour the shop-keeper draws the shutters and closes issue of pulses for that month ignoring people still in Q. Soon after the shutters are drawn, we get to see unauthorised sale of the material to shopkeepers. We regularly witness bulk sale of this material to non-cardholders. Movement of these sacks containing material meant for distribution to public being carried in two wheelers by nearby shopkeepers even in broad daylight is a common sight.
For your kind attention the ration shopkeeper attends to the shop counter invariably in a DRUNKEN state.
We shall be thankful for your kind intervention in this matter.

Hi Sir,
I am Anitha. As we lost our ration card ,My father applied for a dupicate copy of a ration card 12 months ago. He has almost summited 3 applications to get the dupilicate of the Ration card . But each time when he enquires they say they have lost the application and asked my father to fill in a new application.
We are not able to get the gas because the dealer is asking for the RATION CARD. For the past 10 months we are spending more than 900 to get the cylinder instead of 300 every month , which is not fair at all…And also not able to get a birth certificate for my daughter
Every time when we asked for the ration card they say we are printing it come next week and collect it , but it is almost a year , still they repeat the same thing one week…, one week….one week….which is very annoying.
I think printing a ration card will not take a few minutes but here it has take one whole year and still in printing process……….
Kindly let me know when we will be getting the ration card
