MOU between universities

It is good to see that our universities are finally acknowledging that the talent and resources in other universities within India will be very helpful when it comes to fresh ideas and approach. Usually , universities will try to one up others by signing MOU with universities in Foreign countries , even if the foreign university is a no namer
(anamathu) in their country. The mentality was always anything we get from foreign land is always better than what our own can produce.

It is refreshing to see that this thought process is changing and the first step in that direction ( atleast first that I know of ) was taken by The TamilNadu Agricultural University, Bharathiar University and Avinashilingam University for Women. They signed a MOU to utilise the local resources in education. This MOU which will be signed in a month’s time will also include Anna University, that will be established soon.
